Congregational Education

The Orloff Department of Jewish Education & Engagement supports synagogues' educational programs through:

  • Professional learning grants for teachers and principals to build more exciting and innovative approaches to teaching
  • Training for professionals to improve their Israel education, Holocaust education and use of Jewish educational technology
  • Opportunities for collaboration and partnerships between synagogues

A Conservative Synagogue whose students develop a mastery of Hebrew, liturgy and Jewish culture.  Through music and motion, the ruach (enthusiasm) soars to new heights as the students discover ways to express their Jewish identity.  Our ECC begins at 3 months and goes through Pre-K, and our Religious School begins at Kindergarten and goes though high school.

Gan Noar provides classes for Pre-K - 7th grade on Sundays and an intensive Hebrew program on Tuesdays for 4th- 6th graders.

Ages/ Grades: Chaverim, Hebrew for "friends" is for students in Grades 3 – 5.  Jr. BOATY is Temple Beth Orr's Junior Youth Group for students in 6th, 7th & 8th Grades.  BOATY is Temple Beth Orr's Senior Youth Group for students in 9th-12th Grades.  Temple Beth Orr offers the Kesher and Confirmation program for students in grades 8 through 12.
