National Young Leadership Cabinet of the Jewish Federations of North America is a six-year journey with a variety of destinations, all of which culminate with stronger, more vibrant leaders.
Cabinet alumni are among today's leaders in virtually every Jewish community in North America.
Cabinet members explore the current challenges and opportunities facing the Jewish people and develop ideas and approaches to engage the next generation of young leaders. Through annual retreats and conferences, we forge a continental network of young leaders, develop leadership skills, and learn about Israel advocacy, humanitarian endeavors, legislative issues, and Jewish life. On missions to places like as Ethiopia, Budapest, Sarajevo, Minsk, St. Petersburg, Berlin, Argentina, Poland, and, of course, Israel, we witness the needs of the Jewish people in diverse communities around the globe.
All of these experiences send us back to our home communities empowered as advocates and prepared to motivate others to join our efforts. We embody and promote an inclusive, pluralistic Jewish environment. We learn from and inspire each other.
National Young Leadership Cabinet is what you make of it -- and for many, it is a profound experience that illuminates leadership paths and builds enduring friendships.
