For Jewish Family Service of Broward County, Gemilut Hasadim is a vital concept.  It is a short-term financial assistance program that helps the neediest in the community in times of crisis. JFS is dedicated to providing help with not only with food, rent and utilities, but other aspects of life including prescription medication and general basic necessities.  This is essential not only for life but for the dignity of the elderly for whom programs such as this are designed.  Jewish Federation of Broward County is a tremendous supporter of the program.
