The Federation, through the Community Relations Committee, is active in promoting Israel and dialogue between the Jewish community with non-Jewish denominations. The following are general materials that are used in interfaith dialogue.

In this section the following materials can be found, specifically for use and better understanding of the role of interfaith relations between the Jewish and non-Jewish communities of Broward County.

Below is information on Israel and Judaism by non-Jewish denomination (Catholic, ECLA Lutheran, Presbyterian (PCUSA) and Episcopalian.

Catholic-Jewish Relations

2005 was the 40th anniversary of The Vatican's Nostra Aetate (In Our Times), a historic document that speaks to the development of a new relationship in Jewish-Catholic relations.

Walking God's Path

Walking God's Path is a Catholic-Jewish adult education resource that, in a critical fashion, analyzes the history of and current issues of Catholic-Jewish relations. It is a program sponsored by both the US Conference of Catholic Bishops and the mainstream movements of Judaism.
